There's nothing that I've seen from her that justifies the level of hatred, except that she just seems to try really hard and she's really earnest and she has a theater kid energy.

Which I love.

But I will say like having interviewed her myself personally now.

You guys are friends.

Lovely.

She was really lovely.

And yes, she was very kind of, and I've seen her be like this in other interviews, I think because my questions were a bit more serious, which was fine because that's what I wanted.

But she gave me really thoughtful answers and I really appreciated that.

But I walked in the room to interview her and Meryl for Devil Wears Prada 2.

And there was a bit of a change with the time.

And I kind of got, when I went in the room, I wasn't sure.

I thought I was going into, you know how you can go into a junkie and you think there's going to be like a holding area?

first and then someone and often there's like a screen and there's all this stuff and the pr person walks around introduces you and then they take you in and then you're like oh okay like now we're starting whereas i open the door and it's just maryland oh right in front of me straight away and they were just like oh hell and i was the first one so they were just like oh they were still like settling down putting their waters down like meryl was drinking her water because they've been doing a full day of press and i was like oh hello hello

And then I didn't even introduce myself because I was like, oh, I'm, yeah.

And I'm like to the camera.

And I talked to the camera person instead of them because I said, are you filming now?

Because I don't want to miss my interview.

And Anne was like, like really quietly.

Yeah, you know, it's like high stakes in that room.

And Anne was like, oh, sorry, what is your name?
