Growing up in Germany, coming to Canada, suddenly no one gave a shit about Formula 1, and it was a hard adjustment for me.

And thank you, Netflix, I suppose.

Now everyone is into Formula 1, and I'm like, I'm so happy that this happened.

This massively increased my quality of at least my Monday morning discussions at work.

So anyway, then I...

But I'm on track for position, maybe newer tires than the people in front of me.

So I'm gaining a little bit.

When I come around the corner and I see that there's not one car for position, there's two cars, and they are fighting, I know I'm going to overtake them both very easily.

It's just like you lose a lot of time when you're fighting with someone directly.

Or were you looking for competitors?

I oddly grew up... So, like, again, growing up with computers in the 90s... Like, I know this sounds weird to make this analogy, but, like, you're familiar with open-source software, right?

Like, purely sharing.

Like, you build something, you share it.

There's massive open-source projects, Linux kernels, these kind of things.

The open source is fundamentally a positive sum.

No one loses by someone else making a copy, because in the world of computers everything is infinitely copyable just for the price of electricity, I assume, which is essentially free.

um the real world is often much more rivalrous like only one person can live in the house or on a spot or only one person can have a physical object um but in in the digital world there is actually true um positive some so i think because of that that i was a bit predisposed towards positive some thinking because i've just seen it more um uh in in in my childhood so um

I, you know, when you are creating a business, you're, like, you're not competing with everyone else, like, in that same space.
