And so we need witnesses.
This review is over.
I mean, we reviewed over six million pieces of paper, thousands of videos, thousands, tens of thousands of images.
There's a lot of horrible photographs that appear to be taken by Mr. Epstein or were people around him.
But that doesn't allow us necessarily to prosecute somebody.
The victims want to be made whole.
And so we want that.
But that doesn't mean we can just create evidence or that we can just kind of come up with a case that isn't there.
This Justice Department, the FBI, DHS, we have gone after more sex traffickers, more child pornographers, more men who have done harm to children and young women than any administration in history.
It's not over.
And it will not be over until there is full and complete transparency as demanded by the survivors so that there can be full and complete accountability.
There's this built-in assumption that somehow there's this hidden tranche of information of men that we know about that we're covering up or that we're choosing not to prosecute.
That is not the case.
I don't know whether there are men out there that abuse these women.
If we learn about information and evidence that allows us to prosecute them, you better believe we will.
The headlines never stop, and it's harder than ever to tell what's real, what matters, and what's just noise.
That's where Pod Save America comes in.
I'm Tommy Vitor, and every week I'm joined by fellow former Obama aides John Favreau, John Lovett, and Dan Pfeiffer to break down the biggest stories, unpack what they mean for the future of our democracy, and add just enough humor to stay sane along the way.
You'll also hear honest, in-depth conversations with big voices in politics, media, and culture like Rachel Maddow, Gavin Newsom, and Mark Cuban that you won't find anywhere else.
New episodes drop every Tuesday and Friday with deep dives every other weekend.
