Yeah, but within a range, though. They were never going to drop Indiana beyond kind of where they are, but the one loss kept them in a range.

Yeah, I would have.
Yeah, I would have.

It's more the SMU thing, but I actually would have. I applaud the committee because we're trying to get the best 12 teams in here. And Indiana didn't beat a top 25 team. Their strength of schedule is 67. 67 compared to 13, 18, 14 for South Carolina, Alabama, Ole Miss, respectively. And Alabama's got three wins over top 25 teams.

South Carolina beat two top 25 teams in the last three weeks of the regular season. One of which on the road against a rival, Clemson, that now is in the championship. and was so good that SMU only losing in overtime, or right before overtime with a 56-yard field goal, whatever it was. Clemson's so good that SMU still deserves to be in. South Carolina's the biggest travesty of all.

Hottest team in the country down the stretch. Knocking off top 25 teams. Win at Clemson in a rivalry game. And most importantly, I don't know if we have the graphic here. We did this on our show last week. Part of the committee's decision is basing it off of who's playing in games. And it's put in there very clearly. If there's a significant player with injury, that is to be factored in.

Well, I've got news for you. South Carolina was up 17-0 on LSU. when Lenore Sellers, who was out of this world down the stretch this season, 17-0 when Lenore Sellers got injured, and they wound up losing that game with some terrible, two terrible calls that cost them in that game. And so if we're going to factor that in with Florida State a year ago, why aren't we factoring that in?

Now, all of a sudden, South Carolina, in the committee's mind, could be a two-loss team.
