We reckon we've been a lot better than that.
You know, the week or two weeks before the bye, you know, we played Gold Coast and we were pretty happy with ourselves.
Probably stayed too happy for too long.
And then we played poorly against Freo.
then a long build-up because we're over there all together and nowhere to hide.
So we managed to eke out a win.
So that, if we look at it in the big picture, we came away with one loss, one win.
So we're still in the hunt.
We're in the game, in the competition to maybe have a crack at the finals if we get our act together.
So our best has been good enough, but we want to be better than the last two weeks.
Yeah, well, confidence comes and goes pretty quick.
On the back of, as I just spoke about before, the Gold Coast game, yeah, we had a strong belief going into the 3-0 game that our best can worry teams.
But then pretty quickly, within a day after that loss, we're thinking, geez, we've still got a lot of work to do and confidence can take a bit of a hit.
We've just got to be more consistent in the process.
I've got the coaches out talking now, but just getting our process right and being unrelentless on getting that done week in, week out, quarter by quarter, home, away.
Good opposition or weaker opposition, we've just got to be able to consolidate the game style that we want to play and be relentless with that.
Yeah, look, he probably had a bit of a slow pre-season.
You know, he hurt his knee in the back end of last year, which was sort of like a PCL-type injury, and they can dag around for a while, so I'm not giving him too much of an excuse, but, you know, he would have liked to have been better.
You know, I think our numbers would suggest we've had more ball inside 50 and those type of things, so the opportunity's probably been there, but...
You know, we've worked on some of our forward system.
