I think the 50-meter penalty for something innocuous enough can be huge.
I don't like the way if it's brought forward 50 metres, then the player gets an option to bring it back outside the arc for a two-pointer.
I think it doesn't fit the crime, if that makes sense.
I think it's been cleaned up an awful lot where there were issues handing back the ball.

A lot of people were giving out about the kick-out and I'd be against that.
I remember talking to Peter Canavan early on and he was saying to me, this was before he actually became a member of the FRC, the kick-out, you're just putting it up for grabs too much.
I said, fuck off.
He says, that's all you want.
You want control of that ball.
You want the shark kick-out so he can build or whatever.
And I take it at the point that McGeaney, McGeaney is brilliant.
