When you write thrillers, it's really difficult reading other thrillers.
I don't know if you find this, David.
You've sweated away on your own structural engine so much.
When someone else doesn't get theirs right, you're like, oh, I can see the cracks in this.
But I thought, obviously, the authenticity goes without saying, but I thought it was really well-constructed, and that made it a pleasure to read.

I mean, I really hope this succeeds.
I really believe in it and I hope it's a great watch.
But we're trying to make something that is beltingly entertaining, but is trying to tackle some of these themes.
And I feel like spy dramas, which I enjoy tremendously, have got a bit heightened and
you know, there's 27 people dead and we're only two minutes in.
And I like those shows.
I'm not knocking them.
I really like them.
