why would you know what was happening is that people's careers promotions are being based on how large you grew your organization how much money did you bring in how much money did you allow to a contractor you didn't in fact you became further and further away from the day-to-day of the con and even the big contractors got all kinds of pass-through fees because they're just giving it to the subs to actually do they didn't a lot of cases didn't even do the real work themselves right who's doing real work oh it's not about real work
