So like my, my dad, my uncle, my grandpa, like everybody on my, on my dad's side was a goalie.
Um, so that kind of got me into it.
But then, um,
I grew up playing on the outdoor rink.
That was a big thing for me.
I think that's what made my transition a little easier for me.
I grew up on the outdoor rink.
I would go there after school at 3.45, stay out there until 9 o'clock at night, just hoping my mom could bring me some sort of food to keep me out there with me and my buddies.
That's kind of what made me make the switch a little easier on myself.
Yeah, I think a bit.
I mean, you get a different perspective on some things.
I think, obviously, I was pretty young.
The hockey I was playing, some kids were still learning to skate.
So it's a bit of a different game than it is now.
Yeah.
So, um, I think, uh, it gave me some perspective, like sometimes whether we're shooting a goalie or something like that.
But I think the biggest thing I'd start from it was just pet peeves.
I was a goalie.
Like if I'm a defenseman going to box out someone and I'm flash screening back and forth in front of my goalie, like,
I knew that was something that I didn't like.
