I supported the president launching the B-2 bombers after Israel had taken out the air capabilities, the air defenses that Iran had, and going out and taking out those facilities.
I think that was the right decision.
We've been talking about it for years.
Obama talked about Iran having a nuclear weapon.
Clinton talked about Iran having a nuclear weapon.
George W. Bush talked about it.
And you know what they all agreed?
Iran cannot have a nuclear weapon.
So for 20 years, we've agreed that Iran cannot have a nuclear weapon.
Trump was the first one to do something about it and launch the attack.
I supported that.
I do think, though, now is not the time to back out.
Right.
We told the Iranian people we were coming to help.
Now, I'm not for boots on the ground that I don't think will be successful.
But this idea that we can enter another JCPOA with them.
No, no.
I was against the first JCPOA.
And if we're going to be consistent, it can't be like, oh, we were against it when Obama did it.
But when Trump does it, we're going to be for it.
