and then we got, did we get just swept off our feet?
We all got feedback.
So how is footy out there in the country, in the suburbs, and is it making it nigh on impossible with these salary caps that are, I don't know how you police them in the country, I don't know how you police salary caps, and there's ways around them I would imagine that's not too hard to be imaginative.
Yeah.
And what are we seeing out there?
What is this 15 grand offer that's been superseded by a 40 grand offer?
Is that commonplace out there in the suburbs or out in the country?
Yeah.
And what does it do?
So are these players entitled to go out and get paid as much as they possibly can if that's what they choose to be?
There'll be a couple of football, I don't want to use the word mercenary, but that might be the way they make their money.
So are they entitled to go out and make as much money as they can?
Because it would appear that there's a bit of lip service being paid to the old salary cap.
Well, yeah, that's a good question.
I think sometimes there are players, as I understand it, a couple of my boys' mates play country footy or did, but they only go up for the game and they train together in the city.
They get together and have a run with another club or they get together as a group and have a bit of a training run.
I don't think it's a recouping situation.
Well, success.
Oh, one-offs, you mean?
