And we became friendly after that.

And he brought my daughter through.

And just to be like a college student kind of...

who has a writing interest and just to walk through that building and see all these young people and older people just mixing and it was inspiring to both of us.

To be cut loose of the journalist deadline,

That had to be a relief, but also disorienting, I would think.

Yeah.

Yeah, just that.

That thing.

I was never a journalist.

Yeah, but I did, for the writing aspect of it, for Prairie Home Companion, which became Live From Here, I would do this five-minute monologue every week.

And it's similar, that thing of, oh, it's done, it was great, and we hit it.

And you have relief for, like you said, like 24 hours.

And then it's, oh, shit, here we go.

I never forgot that.
