I'm getting there.
Okay.
And I'm sure you've heard about the kind of the urban or among criminals, the no snitching ethos.
No snitching.
I'm not saying low blow, but I've heard you criticized for being a snitch and stuff like that.
And listen, my whole career relied on people doing the right thing and cooperating with the government.
So in my mind, you're a hero.
to help.
Yeah, right, right.
But I know that in certain communities, there's a real no-snitching ethos that people take to heart, and it's a source of pride.
We talked about this Romanian guy, Benny.
I'd never heard him describe it in those terms, but he was clearly living by that ethos.
And I guess I just want to hear your thoughts about that.
And is it a real thing, or is it mostly people paying lip service until they actually have skin in the game?
Get the third off the low end of the guidelines or whatever the deal is that they're being given for cooperating.
Yeah.
I think this Benny fellow was unique in that regard where he could have really helped himself and his family, and he chose not to.
Yeah.
And I've also had cases that I've told on the show, like a Chicago mobster who didn't want to cooperate against other mobsters.
He would rather just take the hit for the crime because he's worried about the safety of his family or his own future in the community and stuff like that.
