I think if Hamas released the hostages, it's not clear at all to me that given what

the ministers around Netanyahu say about their desire to ethnically cleanse and occupy Gaza in perpetuity would actually get the idea.

So I think it's going to have to be a deal where both sides do some really hard things and there's just no serious effort to get there.
