We're going to take all of our nonprofits in town and put them at a level that it would make sense for the mayor every single week of the year, 52 weeks of the year, to proclaim a specific day for lacrosse.
each particular nonprofit that's doing good in the community, to give them validity, to give them the foundation.
And all these nonprofits, if they're working independently, but we're all going in the same direction, why not merge them together and give some good highway space to get full speed action?
That was something we realized because, again, we're not experts at AEDs.
But when we started bringing in the La Crosse Fire Department team,
Molly McCormick in particular was like, you guys, you're doing what we're doing and we're doing it together.
But five years ago, it would not have been this easy.
Today, you guys have found the perfect time, the perfect elements to really push this idea forward.
And again, this is the first initiative and we are we're working on improving the lives of children.
So there's a lot of opportunities to do that.
in sports and academics and just, uh, wellbeing, mindfulness, all of that is kind of going to be rolled into one.
So I think that there is something broader and bigger here.
The fact that we've partnered with the masters of public health, uh, uh, graduate program at, or at UW lacrosse, uh,
we have an in now this is the first end we have somebody that's working on this on two prongs the aed like management and database systems so we can keep track of information and then going broader the second prong that they're working on is like the data that comes from the county about aed usage and the fire department and ems and how many aeds in an area help
the livelihood of our residents of lacrosse.
I think it's, it's very cool for, for you to ask that question because our wheels are always churning.
We're trying to think of what's next and how we can be another big impact organization.
