She was always listening to the latest songs.

Her ringtone was a bachata song, Tu Veneno by Aventura.

And so anytime I hear that song, I just think of her.

Me and another one of our friends were planning to meet with Kenya that night and we made plans to just meet up downtown somewhere.

I didn't know who she was with.

I want to say it was about 10 or 11 o'clock.

We texted Kenya and she never responded.

So we figured she's having fun.

We'll run into her later.

Kenya was 4'11", 100 pounds.

Drinking any amount of liquor affected her.

In the morning, her other best friend

called me and asked, have you seen Kenya?

She's not answering her phone.

I don't know what could happen to her.

I just feel bad now that I didn't either go with her or just have her stay in my place.

That was my first time knowing about it.

And I said, and none of you know what happened to her?

You know, she said, no.

Then I started going through her phone and I'm seeing all these names, you know, and I'm calling the friends that I know and I'm saying, you know, look, this is where I'm at.
