This time I actually followed the directions and mounted it without issue.
So for anybody that's interested in this dot, here's a couple things you need to know.
There's a little bit of hand fitting, but it only takes about five minutes.
And basically what you're doing is you're taking the dovetail for the sight that goes in the pistol.
We'll pause while you're making a shit ton of noise, too.
There's a little bit of hand fitting that goes on.
It takes about five minutes and I did it with just a rotary tool.
So it's like a Dremel and you're basically just sanding off really about all you're doing is just taking the finish off the edges.
And then I was able to pretty much put it all in by hand, squeeze it in.
It took one little tap just to get it in.
So for a micro dot, the glass is pretty good.
And I'll pass this around for you guys that haven't looked through it yet.
It's a little bit dark, but I think that's probably to be somewhat expected for such a small dot.
I think it's very reasonable for what it is.
Kind of, yep.
They're about $220.
That's what I was thinking, too.
It does.
I think the dot itself is good, even with my astigmatism.
I noticed limited star bursting or fringing in it.
