I stopped listening to the gun community when I started pulling more triggers and I realized these people just repeat shit they hear.

And a lot of the people that do the writing and the reporting are on the payroll of the gun companies.

One of the reasons, even today, everybody still believes the M1 carbine is garbage is because that's the narrative pushed by the gun companies post-World War II because they were trying to get back in business and there were millions of M1 carbines out there cheap.

So what they did was run around just repeating the stories of how they didn't work.
