So,
I know I have a lot of work to put in.
I did shoot my very first arrow at 40 yards because the goal is accuracy at 40 this year.
I've not shot in past 35, I think was the farthest I've shot.
That was at the 3D deer with a big black tarp behind it.
So if I missed, it wasn't going into the woods.
That was, you know, there's no risk involved in that.
I was a little nervous on shooting at 40, but I got everything dialed in.
I'm close, but I have a lot more work to put in to be called accurate at 40.
I am happy to say, as per my usual archery practice, I usually shoot at 35 yards at the 3D target to simulate if I'm hunting, cold, first shot, where am I going?
I'm happy to say I feel pretty good about this year.
Now, if I could just get them to come in that close.
Yeah.
I think we might have venison.
Yeah.
I mean, so you have a non-moving broadside target, but it is about half the size that deers actually are.
Getting them to stop is not the problem.
I need them to get close enough for me to shoot them.
My meh is good enough.
However, I enjoyed shooting.
