Yeah, but the generation didn't change.

The RTF and RTF2 are still Gen 3s.
Right.
But there's a special line that only existed for a short time.
I imagine when the 6s are fully released, the V will no longer exist.
Just like when the 4s were officially released, the original RTF no longer existed.
