We went and sighted in some bows and got some practice.

I've not shot my bow since it was...

horribly cold outside in like the Christmas time, somewhere around Christmas.

I think it was the last time I went to the archery range and yeah, single digit weather.

yeah, it was like the 18 inches of snow that I was hopping through to run down range to get my arrows back.

That was the last time I had my bow out.

So it was kind of nice to get it back out and remind myself of how much I need to put the work in.

Right.

So I had a few good shots.

I had a few shots where I was like, Ooh, I really felt like I released that too early.

You know, I touched it and it went off.

So,

I know I have a lot of work to put in.

I did shoot my very first arrow at 40 yards because the goal is accuracy at 40 this year.

I've not shot in past 35, I think was the farthest I've shot.

That was at the 3D deer with a big black tarp behind it.

So if I missed, it wasn't going into the woods.

That was, you know, there's no risk involved in that.

I was a little nervous on shooting at 40, but I got everything dialed in.

I'm close, but I have a lot more work to put in to be called accurate at 40.
