It was the last feature film made by CBS Theatrical Films.
CBS had its own division of movie releases.
So it was abandoned and picked up a year later by Castle Hill Productions.
So it made absolutely no money.
Duvall is taking a big swing here.
He's playing this southern character.
He's got this kind of sonorous tone that he speaks when he's doing it.
