I remembered just sitting there typing a report for who knows what, and I remember hearing,

something come over the radio that there's a suspicious male walking in the saint helen's neighborhood that's the neighborhood that cheryl and her husband lived in and this is a neighborhood that we had almost no crime um it just was a you know it's a catholic neighborhood a lot of older people and stuff like they're almost never vehicle break-ins or disorderlies or even domestics for that matter this is a quiet very very quiet neighborhood

And I remembered hearing over the radio, it kind of dawned on me that there was a suspicious guy walking in the neighborhood.

And they actually put the school on lockdown because the caller was so adamant that this person was out of place and something was going on.

That day on October 2nd, it was crazy.

Ohio typically gets, you know, chilly in October.

This day it was like in the 80s.

And the thing that stood out was this person, this suspicious person walking near the school was wearing like a hoodie.

I believe they had their hood pulled up and way too hot to be dressed like this, especially, you know, late morning hours when the sun's beating down on you.

And I heard that this person was walking towards the school.

Well, the interesting thing is you've got a school right here and then you've got this long fence line right here.

And Cheryl and Bill's house were one of these houses that was on the fence line.

So I immediately go to the school and I tell them, I'm like, I need all your video from, uh,

October 2nd from this time to this time, they provide that to me.

And you see this person walk to the dead end where you would enter onto the school grounds, which this person did.

And then this person walks right on that fence line going towards Cheryl and the husband's house.

So, and this person is dressed in all black.

They got their hood up.

They're clearly trying to conceal their identity.

So now it's like, okay, this is really huge.
