I submit it to the crime lab.
And the crime lab comes back and they do a handwriting analysis and basically comes back, you know, very confident that the same person who filled out this witness statement matches the handwriting.
in the jury questionnaire so far far more likely than not the husband did write that according to what the handwriting analysis is so i'm not saying that makes him guilty by any means i'm just saying it was an interesting did you ever bring that back to the prosecutors they just shrugged it off they shrugged it exactly trying to get out jerk or jury duties he made it offhand and that could be the case that could absolutely be the case but it was interesting given the
massive spotlight that's been on him for x amount of years to even joke about that to write something like that or anything like that so that was just another one of the frustrating parts about this case you know i thought you were going to say like his ex-girlfriend said that's the whole thing like that's the problem with time
So two interesting things about the husband's girlfriend.
I believe they're married now.
interviewed her I believe it was Friday October 5th and She was I went to her place of work, which is also where he worked as well and I went there specifically to meet with her and Pretty much as soon as I met with her it was like I gotta show you this text message Cheryl sent me and it was this weird text message saying
And again, paraphrasing, not quoting, but, you know, if something ever happens to me, please make sure to take care of my husband.
If something ever happens to me, make sure he's taken care of.
I want him to be taken care of and treated right or, you know, whatever.
That's odd.
And she was so eager to show me this.
So I'm looking at it and I, you know, hey, do you mind if I take a picture of this as evidence or whatever?
And she actually let us download her phone.
She let the FBI agent come and do like a quick download of her phone to extract all that data.
So the interesting part is we were never able to corroborate from Cheryl's phone, which we had in our possession that had been downloaded.
We were never able to corroborate that she actually sent that text message to the husband's girlfriend, who's now the wife.
Like one would, one could easily put, you know,
Cheryl as the contact and it'd be a different, you know, it could be coming from a different phone.
The best way I can answer that would be, um, I've always personally opinion wise suspected that either, uh,
