Um, playing in Japan was much tougher because very few of the players actually spoke English.
So it was hard to interact, but, uh, Mexico wasn't bad, but yeah, I tried to, I tried to learn Spanish.
yeah not great for you but delicious yeah yeah a lot of tortillas and carbs and stuff yeah no it's it's delicious though you take the diet stuff pretty serious yeah you have to at your level i mean yeah um so i have a meal service actually so it's pretty complicated i get blood work done they'll take like 30 vials of blood jam yeah and they'll test it all micronutrients and hormone profiles and all sorts of stuff
and then i have a diet plan built off of that based on what my body needs i send that to meals prep service and they provide meals a day for me six days a week so i know there's fruit companies doing that yeah dude i give myself sunday like cheat day treat day so you're the rock yeah rock those up damn 30 balls dude i take four and i'm tripping yeah 30 is no joke you must be lightheaded after that i definitely feel lightheaded i gotta wait a couple hours before i do much
Well, it makes sense.
Everyone focus on the skill.
How's your shot or how's your swing or how hard do you throw?
But what dictates all of that is the human body.
Your body has to perform the thing.
So if you're not functioning well, then there's no chance that you can execute the skill well.
And so there needs to be a shift into getting the body right first, maintaining that so that you can actually learn skills quicker.
That's really what I'm trying to do with my training app, my training company, is shift the focus to
body first take care of that and then you'll learn skills a lot quicker you'll advance a lot quicker it will be healthier so you stay on the field and a lot of times in sports it's not even about who's the best but who's healthy and who can do it the longest time because if i can do it 10 years straight but you're going to be hurt for two or three of those years well i have three-year advantage on you in terms of acquiring skills which is massive over a long enough time horizon
I had mixed feelings on this one.
I think from a fan's perspective, the quicker pace of the game is good.
And from the player's perspective, too, we don't like sitting in the dugout playing four-hour games either.
So we've all been there where a pitcher's taking 60 seconds in between each pitch.
I'm like, dude, come on.
But I do think that the data shows that shorter time in between explosive movements increases injury risk.
So I think there's a concern there for sure.
