I was like, okay, 90.
And by the time I was throwing 90, the standard had moved to like 95.
Like, ah, shoot, I got to keep going here.
I've never actually hit 100.
I've got 99.38, like four or five separate times in my career, but never-
yeah so uh but we don't run yeah and baseball like pitchers if you round up you're like look down oh really yeah so it has to say like 100 point something even if it's 99.9 yeah it's like nope you didn't hit 100 wow so i've hit 103 times on a scoreboard gun but that doesn't count it's like the track man of the hawkeye tracking system so yeah i still got a little bit to go i'm
i don't know you think you'll ever hit it well i think i'll get it i got like one or two more years before i start like kind of going on the back end of my prime so i'm hoping this year i'll get it i got 99.3 twice last year i got it twice this year so yeah i gotta i just go it's like 0.6 miles an hour yeah that must be haunting i feel so like how do you not find 0.6 miles an hour so you were pitching 90 in high school you said though
Yeah, I think I topped out at 94 in high school.
I was consistently like 89 to 91.
But I also didn't have my senior year in high school.
I graduated half a year early.
So I pitched my junior year, did well enough that I had scholarships.
I graduated high school in December and then started college, started at UCLA like three weeks later in January.
And then I was freshman pitcher of the year that year and then made Team USA.
So it was a pretty crazy calendar year.
0.4.
Let's see, 90 is 0.44.
So 94 is probably like 0.4 seconds from the time the ball leaves your hand.
Educated guess, yeah.
The science is pretty crazy.
