So you got 162 regular season games.
Jeez.
You got six weeks of spring training.
You probably end up playing about 25 to 30 spring training games.
And then you can have maybe about 20 postseason games as you go all the way.
So all in all, you're looking at like 200 and just call it 210 games maybe if you play the whole thing.
So too long.
I mean...
depending on your perspective, like more money.
dsh today to get started that's selectquote.com slash dsh for more games obviously um players get paid higher amount but there's definitely a lot of games during probably months in the middle of the season where the level play is not super intense because everyone's kind of like well it's a marathon come out you play the first month kind of hard because you're excited for the season next two or three months you're kind of like a mother game
and then you get into August or September kind of after the all-star break after the trade deadline and the teams that are in the race like okay now we start going again but the teams that are out of it at that point are just kind of like we got two more months growing so they're dreading it yeah I look at it from like a health perspective like what percentage of pitchers get injured during a season
So it's interesting, you find like high spike in injuries in the beginning of the season, spring training, first month.
And then pretty much levels off, not a whole lot of injuries in the middle of the season.
And then you'll see a couple trickling at the end, guys that are kind of banged up, they're trying to make it through for the post season, they just can't quite hold on.
You end a season, you get kind of banged up.
You go to the off season, you're like, okay, I can take a breath.
I'm gonna take a month and a half off, let my body heal.
Like, okay, now it's Christmas.
Get into January, like, okay, I'll start building up.
But you go to spring training, not ready for the full intensity.
