And so I'm like, even then, your next heist is going to feel like pennies against what your horde is back home.
Yeah, that's true.
So you might as well kick it.
So there were two prominent theories up until 2024, recent year.
So let's talk about those.
Some historians believe that Every found refuge after sneaking back away to Ireland, of all places.
This theory states that he would have sailed up to Rhode Island first, and from there he would have then crossed the Atlantic back to Ireland.
We don't really know the details of the theory, what else might have been going on.
In fact, it's been reported that he was last seen in June of 1696, going by the alias of Bridgman.
We couldn't find where this was, but if this was the last known source of him, I think it was in the colonies or at least in the Caribbean, it would kind of help build on this theory.
But outside of these few details, little is known what would have come of his life after crime there in Ireland.
Well, that might have got lost in the shuffle.
I will say, like, I don't know how many, what percentage, but some of the pirates did get caught and executed.
Okay, okay.
But many did make it away, right?
Okay.
Yeah, so it seems that none of them squealed or they didn't know where they all scattered to.
Man, who's to say one of these pirates doesn't make like a bank in some area and start lending out money and they develop some sort of generational influence that lasts till today, you know?
It went somewhere, whether it's the bottom of the ocean or into the economy.
This wealth went somewhere.
