Maybe this is how he was swindled.

If you report this guy to the police, it kind of raises questions as to one, how'd you get those in the first place?

Two, you look like that rosy cheek pirate that they're all looking for back home and I could use a reward.

Now, to add to this theory, it's kind of the thing that gives it the most legs.

Several people over the years following did report seeing a man that looked oddly just like Every.

It's not like he was a very unique person, but based on all accounts and all details and all illustrations of him, people have said that over the next 20 years, there were reported sightings of...

A man like every.

And so maybe, maybe he did just go back home.

Right.
