Specifically, he found that Henry's shirt had been slashed as though he was stabbed in the back and Ives' skull had been crushed as if struck by some sort of blunt force object.
He also found, and this is where my heart weeps.
I hate to think about this.
He also found that Dr. Malik, when performing the first autopsy, had sawed Ives' skull in such a way, like in multiple different directions, in his words, essentially mutilating it, making it nearly impossible to determine
which of the fractures on the skull were the first ones i.e was there in fact blunt force trauma to this head creating a fracture before the train did its its deed and so if nothing else this is malpractice this is negligence on the highest degree on dr malik's behalf i'm not directly involved with the case so i can't really say that but that seems to be what is being floated here yeah
Something here, dude.
Yeah, and Task Force looks at the runtime and they go, oh, yeah, there's lots of coming.
Yeah, yeah, there is.
Oh, man.
So we're getting close to the theories in which we'll live for the next half of the episode or so.
But before we get there, there's a lot of other things.
Five additional pathologists observed the case, right?
They agreed with Dr. Burton's findings.
That is, they believe that Henry and Ives were both killed prior to being run over by the train.
We're getting more outside opinions and they're continuing to stack evidence against all of the stuff earlier.
All that stuff that felt fishy?
Okay.
It turns out it was fishy.
Now, because of these findings, as well as the testimonies from Dr. Garriott and Dr. McBray, the grand jury reversed Dr. Malik's ruling of accidental death.
After the fact, one of Dr. Malik's assistants actually said that he had found what appeared to be a stab wound during Henry's autopsy.
