Yeah, it's interesting. You know, I feel like it does start to, you know, there's the idea that things are elevated for money. And then to me, the most sinister part, whether they meant to or whether they didn't care, is what's left in their wake.

The potential to have made situations worse, the potential to have made money on the trauma of individuals going through whatever they might have been going through, or the fact that they might have just straight up been fraudulent, you know? Kind of as I hinted at earlier, a lot of their stories around their youth didn't come until later in their career.

It's really, really hard to pin down a timeline on when certain claims were made. For example, I couldn't figure out when their claim of 10,000 investigations happened, so I couldn't figure out how many investigations per week was happening. When they started talking about their experiences as kids, that kind of came later, from what I could tell, into their paranormal investigations.

And so was this a way to backwards make sense and ground their whole lives in this world? Or was it real, right? And so at what point does this honestly feel more like a story and less like real history? It's blurry.

Yeah. It sucks. There is some evidence, and when you look at it, some of it crumbles, some of it falls apart, some of it is interesting, but takes on a level of faith to believe it because things can be manipulated... But really, it's all of this kind of fraudulent stuff that all these claims like from direct sources that really start to shake up that foundation.

And I have one more example that goes in detail here. So the Warrens, as I kind of indicated, were involved very heavily with the Devil Made Me Do It case, i.e. the trial of Arnie Cheyenne Johnson, who, again, argued that he was not guilty of murder due to being possessed by a demon. Johnson's brother-in-law underwent an exorcism with the Warrens, and Johnson asked the demon to take him instead.
