You know, when we pick these stories, that Christian and I have like a long laundry list of stories that we want to pull from, and I go perusing all the different subreddits and things, and I want to make sure that we have a variety, like a spread of genres.

But what I found today, and you're kind of underscoring that just there,

What's so interesting is you almost through reading all these stories, but then putting a modern story back to back with a story from late 2009, you see the evolution of internet horror stories.

You know, you have these like quick bite size, truly terrifying in and out getchas.

And then you have these more nuanced, subtle, simmering, kind of draw you into the world with a familiar mechanic or a familiar world.

And then bang, twist it on its head and make you terrified of the world.
