But like, if they do have history in this space, it would make sense for them to have a natural proclivity for haunted houses and the paranormal. But on the other hand, chicken or the egg, right? And looking into it further, how do they figure out these houses? Where do they figure out these locations? It sounds like it was mostly local word of mouth. Stories would be told in town. They would hear about these things. Maybe they would ask about them. And so, hey, if they're heading to Portsmouth or what have you, then maybe they'll stop at a house on the way.

Now, what's interesting, and this feels like a cursed version of American Pickers, Ed would actually sketch the supposedly haunted houses. He would then knock on the door, talk to the homeowners, show the sketch as a way to kind of befriend them, enter the home, maybe talk about their experiences with the paranormal, and then they would begin their investigation.
