I'm going to go with a mom and dad award.
I'm going to keep this one short and sweet because I don't think it needs to.
We'll probably get into this more and more as the season goes on.
But we did have the first two proposals in the, I guess what you'd call it, the bargaining process of the CBA between the union and Major League Baseball.
We saw that the union said, hey, we want to take minimum salary from $750,000 to $1.5 million.
Okay, cool, man.
I would like that, too.
Can I retroact my payment, please?
They wanted to bring the CBT tax first tax threshold up to $300 million.
They wanted the tax teams that weren't spending enough.
So, you know, there is that aspect of it.
The Major League Baseball came back with a salary cap proposal.
a floor and a ceiling, if you will, a 50-50 revenue split.
And all these things, they're just, that's the first offer, okay?
So you're going to hear from the union saying, that's terrible.
You're going to hear from Major League Baseball saying, no, that's terrible.
And here's my advice to them.
Just like if you're a parent, you understand, and you're with your spouse, right?
There are times where you're not going to see eye to eye.
You're not.
