Jared Allen versus Jalen Duren.
Both played their best in the series in Game 7.
Allen basically saved the season for the Cavs in the second half.
Duren had his best game in Game 7 as well, but a downed series for both of those guys.
And I think they both have a chance to make up for it because their strengths...
really play well against each other.
Like, Durant has to be a force in the middle in this series.
He got a chance to make up for whatever happened in Series 1 where he was just completely lost his confidence, wasn't looking like the same guy.
We know that force can give a finesse team like the Cavs problems.
When they look bad, it's because they're getting out-physicaled, and that's definitely a place where Durant can outplay Jared Allen, but Allen does have some skill.
Like, he looked awesome in that second half.
uh, against the Raptors in game seven, he looked like a ferocious player as well.
So, you know, he can get to that level.
I think this has to be a big series for Evan Mobley as well, because he should have a size advantage.
I think it would be great for the Cavs if they're able to have some success with their two big lineup.
Cause once you go to one big, the Cavs offense looks a lot better and it makes a lot more sense, but I think their defense falters then.
So I, it, it,
Mobley has to show up.
Jared Allen has to at least match Durant from an intensity standpoint.
And Durant really needs to bring it like this was a bummer first round series for him.
