I think they're fascinating because they could make a big splash this coming week or they could just stand pat because they're like Hey, we're the number one team in the Eastern Conference.
We're likely gonna have home court advantage throughout the East playoffs But they can make a big splash because they have a ton of future assets.
They have an intriguing young player I think in Jaden Ivy They have full control of all their own first-round picks they even have some extra second-round picks and they have a glaring need to me even though they're good and
Of all these top teams in both conferences, only the Raptors have shot worse from deep than Detroit.
The Pistons shoot 34.7% from distance, and they rank 27th in three-point attempt rate.
They could use a dynamic score, a shooter, an off-ball guy that sort of can keep the other defense a little more honest and open things up for Cade and Jalen Duren to still operate.
So who fits that bill?

does for sure.
I think the Pelicans' Trey Murphy III does as well, though it sounds like the Pelicans want a hell of a return for him.
And then there's some other guys maybe not on those guys' levels, but of the two, MPJ does seem the easier one to acquire.
Because I just don't think the Nets... Like, unless the Nets are planning to compete immediately next season, he's more of a trade ship.
Or he should be looked at more of a trade ship for the Brooklyn Nets.
