What's going on, Sean?
How you going?
I got two points.
One is the coaching landscape, and then another thought is on the Steelers.
The first one is I've been really thinking about this, and it's kind of crazy.
Sean McVay, a couple years back when Aaron Donald was leaving, was kind of thinking about either going to TV or retiring.
There were some talks.
He got a contract extension.
That was back then.
I think if the Rams win the Super Bowl that Matt Stafford retires, and there's a possibility that McVay walks off too, and I think that job right there is actually going to become โ
The best job to get, and I could see Shula and Sheil House wanting to stay there and continue with the building that they're already in.
So I think there's a longer wait that we're going to have this time on whether a coach makes a decision to come here.
I would think by the end of January originally.
But I'm probably thinking more towards into February now, and I'm just curious on your thoughts of that before I get to my seal.
That's why I didn't really, I didn't think that it could be a ploy because in my mind, and I think in the mind of the league, he is one of the best coaches in the league.
It's not like he had to prop himself up for people to believe that he was.
He was already the up and coming and discussed as probably one of the best coaches in the league.
Well, why would you want to leave then?
Well, a lot of people kind of, you know, you reach your milestone, you win a Super Bowl, Aaron Donald retires, and you think to yourself,
hey, maybe I want to get out of this for a couple years, spend some time with my family.
