Cool.
Don't leave at the console when you go in the house.
On February 21st, a man with a knife allegedly threatened a couple outside of an apartment complex in Clearwater, Florida.
It's just up the road.
Fearing for their lives, a male victim was shot and injured.
The suspect, once released from the hospital, the 37-year-old subject was arrested on charges of aggravated assault.
He's also charged with battery on a person 65 or older.
For a separate incident the day prior in which he allegedly thrown a water bottle at a 70-year-old woman, struck her in the face.
That came out of WFLA, Tampa, Florida from February 22nd.
There's another one here going back to 1983.
Richard Vallejos awakened to the sound of a window being broken in his Tucson, Arizona home where he secured a pistol and lay on the floor next to his bed.
And Trier made his way into the house, the bedroom, and upon spying, the homeowner pulled a gun from his belt.
Vallejos fired first, striking the prowler in the arm and chest.
The man died shortly thereafter in a nearby hospital.
That came from the Citizen newspaper in Tucson, Arizona, August 1983.
Even back in the good old days, people were still having to defend themselves with a gun.
All right.
Let's see.
Let me go back to my show notes here.
You got anything else, Doug?
