And so when the president said we're going to bomb them back to the Stone Age, most Americans must have thought, well, I thought they were already in the Stone Age.
Well, who knows what age they were in, Stone Age or medieval.
Who knows what their caliphate was really like.
It turns out that their military power and their economic power, we vastly underrated.
