This is like the idea of sitting and thinking, I am not distracted, I am not distracted.
Non-meditation means not contriving, not imagining.
Steadiness or continuity comes from being undistracted.
And this is not something that we have to push or force ourselves to do because it is also non-meditation.
There is no doing in the sense of deliberate meditation taking place.
If you keep at it, at a certain point, your training becomes like the steady, unbroken flow of a river.
that which knows is empty in essence cognizant by nature and its capacity is unconfined try to see this for yourself and understand that this is how your essence is
Thoughts arise from you and dissolve into you.
They do not arise and dissolve somewhere else.
If you recognize a source of thoughts, they dissolve into your own empty cognizance.
Give up the thinker and what is thought of.
That is the actual way of benefiting beings.
But giving up everything does not include giving up recognizing.
Give up doing, but do not give up non-doing.
If you give up recognizing, you remain in a state of indifference.
Give up conceptual experience, but do not give up non-conceptual wakefulness.
The real condition of things is as they actually are, not just how they seem.
The seeming way is created by our normal rigid and fixating thoughts.
Recognise the real state and the seeming way vanishes.
These are the two aspects, the real and the seeming, the ultimate and the relative.
