No, you worked hard for it.

You know, not that like you took it for granted, but I would never sit there.

Like the work that you put in to get there and putting it on, it means a lot.

But sitting in the locker room, like you got to have a mindset that you deserve to be there, that you belong there.

If you're like the guy, like just, oh my God, I'm here.

You might have the wrong mindset going up and playing.

Like when you get called up,

you got to go up there with a swagger, a cockiness to you that, hey, I should have been here.

I belong here.

I need the puck.

Oh, yeah.

You still, like, I remember during the national anthem, I was like, what am I doing here?

You know, like, you still get that, like, what am I doing?

I have that every day.

Yeah.

You need to have a confidence about you when you come up.

You need to have that confidence.

I really do think guys that come up and are a little cocky, they need to be because, again, it's going up to the best league in the world, and you've got to be able to make plays.
