He would hammer guys.
When you stepped on the ice with certain guys, like a Tom Wilson, you had to keep your head up.
And it's identical to Ovechkin in his prime.
You needed to know he was on the ice because, one, he can absolutely put you in the top row by hitting you through the wall, or he can score a hat trick.
So he was so dynamic in all those aspects that,
So to keep them off the top five, it doesn't make sense to do it.
See, when you think of top five, it is so hard to compare generations.
You can't compare Mary Lemieux's generation to Sidney Crosby's generation to McDavid's generation to even before their...
you know, the old Montreal Canadiens back in, you know, the 1970s or like Brian Troche's era.
So when you say put them in a top five, for a guy that was growing up watching at the end of their careers was Lemieux, Gretzky,
I couldn't comprehend how good these guys are.
But when I was in my private playing and seeing Oveskin, Crosby, even McDavid, I have more of a feel on where I place them in my generation of hockey players.
So in my generation of hockey players that I remember, I have Oveskin top three.
All right.
Crosby.
Crosby.
Where is Ovechkin on top hits ever?
I think he's like top three.
Top three what?
most hits in the NHL history, Obeskin's like a number three.
