There was also a tablet on the ground that said, in the middle of it, it said, let these be guidestones to an age of reason.

And then another thing that they had inscribed there was that there is a time capsule buried six feet below the tablet itself.

And it says, interred or buried, and the date was blank.

And then it said to be dug up, and then the date was blank again.

Yeah.

So this has generated like a firestorm of conspiracy theories about where is the time capsule?

Was there ever one?

A lot of the people I spoke to who were there the day of the Guidestones unveiling and helped to build it said that there was no time capsule.

There's been no evidence that has come out about whether or not there's a time capsule.

Yeah, it's varied with the times.
