And I worked like effectively an unpaid internship, basically.

So I did the internship in London, and then basically I came back to finish my last semester of school, sort of emailed them again.

I was like, that was fun.

Can I keep working remotely?

They said, yeah, cool, great.

So then I was getting paid for my last semester, and basically it was a no-brainer when I finished school to work for them.

We had already been working together, and they were just like, do you want to do this full-time?

And I said, great.

And they were just opening up in the U.S., so they had like two people in New York and two people in D.C.,

And I went to go join the team in D.C.

there.

And so that was pretty cool.

It's kind of like real true startup experience, although they were a little further along as a company.

It was growing from three people to seven people to 15 people kind of thing in that space.

I stayed with them for a while.

I worked for another two years at the startup.

So I worked a year in D.C.

and a year in New York.

And then they were acquired by Bloomberg.

And then I moved to London and continued working in for about another 18 months.
