And we weren't really optimizing for...

And at the time I didn't know that that was like a kind of a deal breaker for a lot of VCs.

So, um, yeah, we got a bunch of cool, like, I remember one time I was in, um, I was in Italy in New York, the kind of rooftop bar they have there.

And I saw, uh, Dave McClure, like clearly like on a date or something, just like walked over and I was like, Hey, this is really shitty of me.

But like, I just want to say like, I have this cool company in clean tech.

I'd love to pitch you and, you know, kind of gave him the,

the elevator pitch right there.

And he was like, yeah, okay.

Email me, you know?

Um, but yeah, what's that?

Did he reply to the email?

Uh, I think I ended up kind of going back and forth with one of his partners at, at 500 in New York and, you know, sort of standard, like kind of passive.

Yeah.

Yeah.

Yeah.

Okay.

So did you end up raising?

Uh, we raised like a, uh, a fairly small, like not really friends and family, but like friends and professional friends round.

Um, so we raised, I think like three or 400 K that, you know, we kind of stupidly just put right back into products.
