The club that I'm a part of is a very strong club in the Shire.

I've seen other clubs like Garawara where Chad Townsend plays.

They've got their first A-grade team ever just this year.

And they've been around for a long time.

Chad played his junior footy there.

What I can say as well with the TV rights deal, the ARL commission was supposed to have a meeting about it and it was scheduled for July 1st.

it's understood that the talks are so far advanced from that that there actually may be a commission meeting called earlier to get things rolling, to get things moving quicker.

And I can reveal some details as well that could come with the new broadcast agreement.

So it'll be the richest TV rights deal the code's ever seen in the 118-year history.

It'll include State of Origin being shown on Channel 9,

Oh, sorry, it has been shown on Channel 9.

It could be shown on pay TV plus a free to air TV.

So it'll still stay on free to air, but there'll be two options for it.

Yeah, like a Ten, a Seven.

They probably wouldn't work with Nine in that regard.

Nine and Fox have gone in on separate bids.

The last TV rights deal, they had an agreement together.

They could, but we'll get to why that could be an issue.

So there's one broadcaster who's actually pushing for a fifth Queensland team to form a 20-club competition.

Makes sense.
