She was the most positive, upbeat, friendly, happy human being you would ever meet.
She admitted that she did some things that she wasn't proud of in an effort to save her marriage.
If he murdered Charla with his daughter in the house, you don't know what he's capable of.
I'll never forget that day and how it felt.
Just the panic that hit me immediately when I heard that they were looking for Darren Mack.
My thoughts immediately turned towards Charla and her whereabouts. And I thought, we have to find her.
Then they announced on the radio that they've also found a body.
Her body was found at the Florida Lee Apartments. I don't think this is how she imagined being famous, though.
Erica had a very normal life with her mother. movies, play dates, sleepovers, parties. That was Charla's life.
She was a petite, tiny woman, and he was a very big, buff guy. Strong.
gun because he was worried she was going to come and kill him but charla was apparently looking over her shoulder too one time he showed up at the house where she and erica were and they had some kind of confrontation and he had her by the neck and was trying to strangle her he was so angry with her
He had a list of her daily activities.
He was going to solicit a gang member.
He's going to come to his senses and, you know, he's just blowing off steam.
There wasn't a lot of money up front, maybe $1,000, $2,000. It didn't raise any red flags, though. If it was anybody else, probably so. But just knowing Bob, he was so likable and he was very kind. You didn't take him serious. Maybe he wasn't serious.
Jimmy Podorski also worked out at the gym. It seemed to be pretty much what he wanted to talk about. To you? To me and everybody else, yes.
A friend of ours called and said that Bill had died.
It hurt him deeply. It hurt him very deeply.
He wasn't meant to die. That's how I felt. He wasn't meant to die at that time.
He was always looking over his shoulder. If a car backfired, he would jump.
He would watch his house before he left. He would watch his rearview mirror if he was driving.
It was an abandoned house. He had just started measuring it from the notes that we found.
He asked for water and then asked for the water to be poured over his body because he felt like he was on fire. Then he went to convulsions. His feet were climbing up the wall.
They'd already shot him. They'd already beat him with a lead pipe.
He was calling the family two and three, four, five times a day, saying she needs to be with her mother.
Oh, he was a wonderful man, very good friend.
She's doing great. She's doing great now.
Oh, he loved her to death. He was a great father. Hi, Daddy.
Took her to dance, took her to the Girl Scouts.
Well, when the sheriff showed up at the door to escort him off the property. That's a good clue. Yes. Very good clue.
We used to tell him he was like a cat with nine lives.
When that didn't work, they called a hitman.
If you're going to kill somebody, you would do it for a reason. David and Donna didn't get along. She had a half a million reasons.
OK. A lot of cold, a lot of vibrations, none of the P word.
And he owed a lot. And Tracy Frame did not have a motive. You know what?
She's fun. After her arrest, a romance developed. All Tracy's ever wanted to do is love and be loved. That's all she's ever wanted.
I will never, ever, ever stop loving her. I'll never leave. I'm there.
The thighs. They were touching. And I'll tell you what, that lady has got a set of legs that don't quit. There's no doubt in my mind that's not her. That's not her?
Tracy Frayne was the person that ultimately has paid the price for this crime, not the person who did it.
It'd be heartache if she wasn't in my life. There's nothing here anymore, except a memory.
David is the kind of person that makes people feel good.

Someone with that kind of a zest for life, that kind of fight for life, she's not going to take her own life, and she didn't do that. Why does Jill suspect Matt?
She was very, very upset. And when you say upset, crying? Crying extremely hard on the phone. And I said, Carrie, what's wrong? And she said, I think Matt is seeing someone else. And you know how you have those moments in your life that you wish that you could just redo the whole thing? And I tried to reassure her that Matt loved her, and he wouldn't do that.
She said that Matt accused her of praying for Cassidy not to have to suffer anymore. And he said that God answered Carrie's prayer instead of his prayer, which was for Cassidy to live to be an old lady and to have a full life.
She said that that was the worst thing that she's ever heard and she didn't think that they could ever recover from that.
The day before she died, she was completely elated. And she said that, you know, we're trying to get everything patched back together. She was very hopeful, very future-oriented.
Daddy, what are we having for supper?
Did it upset you that he got custody of the children?
Did your children understand what was happening?
I think you're the most wonderful and gorgeous woman on this earth. I want to give you everything in life you want.
Multiple dates with one person leads to expectations which do not bode well with me. This is especially true with a person such as Dave. If things with other men are getting sexual for you, I will never be able to forgive that, considering we are married.
Scott called Friday night five, six times, I think, in the middle of the night. Saturday night, he called 30 times.
Please call me, please call me, please call me. And you never called him back? Never called him back.
He was beautiful and outgoing and athletic. My name is Megan Lee, and in 1996, I was dating David Coffin. He liked to ski hard slopes. He liked to live life to the fullest, very Robert Redford-esque. David came from the Coffin family of the Northeast. It's a very prominent family.
Scott Davis. I would love to believe that it was anyone else other than the person that I've been married to. But I know, I know nothing else makes sense and I've tried.
There has not been a day in 10 years that I've not thought about the events of December 96. Not a day.
He has to live with the fact that he murdered David. And I was hoping that was destroying him. When he ran for governor of California, that's when I realized, I thought, you know what? He hasn't given this a second thought.
He said, oh my God, the police are here with me. And they said they had just come from a scene in Buckhead where a guy had been shot in the head and his house had been burned down.
He was the most down to earth, unpretentious guy you can imagine. He had a great laugh and a wickedly good sense of humor.
At that point, I had no idea who wanted to kill David Coffin. My world no longer made sense.
I just felt like, oh my God, I'm not scared anymore. And I don't think I was truly sort of recognizing how scared I was. until they said, we find Scott Davis guilty.
It was the most tragic, unbelievable time of my life.
His best friend came on scene, and I had to tell him that David was dead.
The person was wearing a ski mask, put a gun to his head, sprayed him in the face with mace, and said, stay away from Megan. And my name is actually pronounced Megan.
He said, oh my God, I was attacked again tonight. I've got police here.
He was just a really laid-back, nice, easy kind of character. He showed me lots of attention and lots of affection, and he was gorgeous.
I was very honest with him that I was going to go on with my life, and that included dating other people.
He kept on talking about this line, don't cross this line.
The line was having an intimate relationship with somebody.
Here was this smart, interesting, attractive man wanting to spend time with me. And that felt really, really nice.
That was the first time the penny dropped, and I went, oh, my God.
The street was blocked off and there was lots of fire trucks there. The house was fully involved in flames. I said, is that 951? And they said, yeah. And I said, that's my boyfriend's house. And they said, do you know how to get in touch with your boyfriend? I said, no, I haven't talked to him today.
He was running for county commissioner. He had just finished his MBA. I mean, he seemed very mature to me, and at the time that was really attractive. And he seemed grown up where I was just trying to be grown up.
We broke up a lot during our relationship, always initiated by me. I just kept on feeling like we weren't really connecting in the way that I wanted to connect.
He would always say that he had changed, that he had realized all these things about himself and that he was making big changes in his life. And you believed him? Absolutely. Every time I ended up believing him. Eventually, Scott and Megan married. I was very able to talk everybody into this, including myself, that we always got back together. He loves me so much.
We want the same things out of life. These are all good foundations for marriage.
and I believe it was the police chief, I'm not sure, came up to me and said, are you the next of kin?
He seemed to lose interest in the relationship very, very quickly. So I think he liked the chase more than he liked the prize. He didn't seem interested in me or our relationship at all the minute we got married in any area. In any area? In any area.
They were saying that Taylor was very into bondage. I knew that she was not into this weird, creepy sex. She never would have done any of that. That wasn't who she was.
Yes. Yes, she did. She had said that she had met Mark Abbott, one of the Abbott boys, and thought he was a good-looking guy. And I told her, Michelle, you know, don't mess with either one of the Abbott boys. You know better than that.
You know, when I look back, I wish that maybe I'd have listened a little more or been there a little more because she was always there for me.
January 1st. Slept real late. Family went to Mingo and I to Leon's. We loved and ate and talked and rented movies. Made me feel loved today and I am really happy. Love him. Great first day of 1992.
I had just moved to Kelly High School, didn't know anybody. Her little bubbly self come bouncing up and introduced herself, and it was all over. She was part of my life from that moment on.
I can't even remember anything she was ever scared of. She was fearless. Would it ever occur to you that Michelle might be in danger? No. No. I mean, that never was a thought to me. Never.
January 6th, called Leon and told him I love him so much.
No matter how mean he is to me, I still love him.

If there were ever crocodile tears, I've never seen anyone do it better.
If Nona was upset about something, she would raise her voice to Kevin. But I never saw him, never saw him raise his voice to her.
People portraying Kevin as this thug afterward, and I never saw any of that.
She should just be remembered as this remarkable person who came through so much. If you're going to remember her as a beauty queen, you should remember her as the girl who didn't win right away and kept doing it because she enjoyed it and because she wanted to make a difference.
She was really shy, like almost painfully shy, like just very, very reserved.
I had been Pope County Fair Queen. Big title, I know. And it was the first pageant I had ever won.
I'm not gonna lie, I wanted to crown one of my friends, or at least have the chance to.
Right, the next Miss Pope County Fair Queen. I just thought maybe she'd have as much fun as I did.
She never knew how pretty she was. She was this strong person who was incredibly multifaceted.
They were just the couple who always got along. You figured they would get married someday.
She had always said, you know, I know that I need to talk about this. because I know that it makes me feel better to come to terms with it and not just put it away. And she was very strong for doing that, incredibly strong.
She was really enjoying life for what seemed like the first time in a long time.
Her helping other people gave her more self-worth.
If someone says, well, the boyfriend did it, they're There might be different situations where with different guys you would say, well, yeah, he always had a temper. I could just see how he snapped. But that was just never the case with Kevin.
Frida was arrested. They put cuffs on me, and my son saw that. And he went to the police, and he said, no, no, let Mommy go. It was misunderstanding. Then he went to my ex-husband and started hitting him and saying, Daddy, you lied to me. You lied to me. You said they're not going to hurt Mommy. They put me in a cell with, I will say, 30 to 50 people. Me shaking, pregnant, I'm scared.
Sitting and crying and I can't believe that my son did this to me for no reason. I never hate my son.

The truth, the whole truth, and nothing but the truth.
She was just a very, very special young lady. Terrible tragedy.
