I can't believe it. It's over. I'm so relieved. I'm so happy.
Yeah, it was a big, beautiful house. Kind of took my dad by surprise. That sparked something in my dad.
It hurts knowing that he couldn't even be man enough after all this happened and apologize.
People give me s*** about it all the time. You know, I try and make a joke out of it, but it hurts every once in a while.
Unless I move. But I don't want to move. I love Murdoch.
They kind of butted ahead us a little bit.
Everything clicked. You knew exactly what the case was at that point.
The situation, the court case will go on, but all we're worried about is just having our mom by our side.
The really only thing we wish we could have is our mother by our side.
It's been that community support that's given this grieving family hope. And it helps to kind of restore my faith in God and in everyone around us. Pictures of Angelina Gonzalez show a smiling 17-year-old who loved cheerleading, music, cooking, and had just joined the wrestling team a few months ago.
Her older brother, Ruben Torres, says his sister had gone to a cheerleading banquet Friday night and never came home.
The LA County Sheriff's Department says Gonzalez was stabbed to death Friday around 10 PM on North Soldano Avenue in Azusa by an 18 year old man whom they described as an acquaintance of the victim. He was taken into custody. Her family says her ex boyfriend had picked her up from the event that night.
One witness says she heard screaming and ran out to see Gonzalez lying face down on the sidewalk and a young man running away.
Albert Fuentes, her wrestling coach, brought flowers Monday to a small memorial for her on that sidewalk.
Her stepfather, Robert Caraballo, says he tried his best to protect his daughter from that relationship and doesn't want this to happen to anybody else.
