it was scary thinking about she's just gonna move on with her life i don't i don't know that closure will ever happen and obviously it's like sad it's not gonna bring her back you know but it was definitely like yes you know like like they did it now let's hope that unlike the first time she was charged with murder these charges actually lead to a life sentence so that she can never hurt anybody ever again
harmed her own body to fake a kidnap. My daughter informed me that Sherry was having her smell rubbing alcohol on a daily basis. I found out more things than Sherry had to do. But that is also a lie. This is literally the same thing she did in 2016.
What we started as a missing person case has now turned, tragically turned, into a homicide investigation. Officers, investigators, and agents...
cocaine, mushrooms, and GHB. As we allege, these drugs caused some of the women to be physically unable to fight back or to escape.
My Angel Walker personally has been charged with murder and possession of a weapon during the commission of a violent crime. Additionally, Taylor Conard, 19, has been arrested and charged as an accessory after the fact in connection with this case. Both subjects are being held at Johnson Detention Center, and we'll have a bond hearing tomorrow at 9 a.m.
I hear him. Go. We got him back here. Yeah, buddy. I got you. Come here. Come on buddy. Come on buddy.
They will encourage them sometimes to commit suicide. They will encourage them to do cutting. They will encourage them to harm their pets.
They're using basically psychological warfare on children.
That's right. They gain the trust, and then they continue to build that trust to the point where they have power and the ability to blackmail the child, basically.

This call was a hoax, but part of a series of nightmare threats terrorizing Vernon, Connecticut. Investigators determining the threats came from overseas, but with the help of a teenage girl living right in town.
He was doing these threats with her knowledge and with some of her input.
Her father is pleading to the community for help as her daughter is now missing in Budapest, Hungary. Now, Kenzie Michalski was last seen over 48 hours ago. After missing her flight back to the U.S., her loved ones are now calling on the community to help share her photo in hopes of finding her.
Tonight, two of Kenzie's friends sat down with me to help get the message out as they detail what lengths are being taken to find the Western New York native.
We know that 12.45 a.m. she was at least at Simpla or at least leaving or, you know, doing something. So something around that point in time is the last time we've seen her or heard from her.
Brooke Adams and Mary Eustace are trying to piece together the disappearance of their longtime friend Mackenzie Machowski. I'm told the Fredonia native traveled to Europe for a friend's birthday.
She went with her friend Gretchen for her birthday, and they actually did a little Europe trip, and that was the last place they went, from Austria to then Budapest. And then from there, she actually dropped Gretchen off at the airport around 3 p.m. so she could go to Italy and meet up other friends.
Gretchen is a mutual friend who now lives in Italy. Adams tells me that Gretchen had called her around noon Tuesday to let her know that their Airbnb host had been trying to reach out to her and Kenzie, who was last seen in Budapest.
She said, hey, the Airbnb people just called me. Like they said, your stuff's still here. What's going on? Why are you not out? And at that point, we're like, what do you mean? She said, hey, it's still here. So we knew Kenzie didn't come back and get her stuff and she would never leave it, knowing that she had then had a flight later.
Now a search party has begun involving the U.S. Embassy in Hungary, Budapest police, Kenzie's family and friends in the States and abroad, and her boyfriend, who is now en route to Budapest to try and find her himself. The Daemen University alum's last known whereabouts are at a bar where this plant photo was taken.
We love going there. So we love to frequent the ruin bars and immerse ourselves in the culture and go around the Jewish Quarter. That's where she was last known to be.
They've even created a timeline of events for investigators after doing their own digging, trying to figure out where their dear friend has vanished to.
Mackenzie is so responsible. She's very responsible. She wants whatever we check out of an Airbnb, she has all her things in a row. It has to be clean. Yeah, we have a checklist. She would never miss a flight. In a city they've gotten to know so well. And the people are really friendly there. Buffalo is the city of good neighbors. It is so friendly.
Adams and Eustace tells me that they aren't playing the waiting game. They're planning on booking their flights to Hungary as soon as they can to try and search for Kenzie.
Kenzie is a very, very pure-hearted person. Very pure-hearted. It's absolutely senseless.
very, very adventurous and brave. She has been everywhere. She's been around the world many times over, and she was always wanting more.
Her last text was, I'll see you when I get back. And I was like, yay, OK, like star eye emoji. You really never expect that it's going to hit you so closely. Yeah, she was a really, really, really pure soul.
I feel like she takes with her a history of mine and of ours that, you know, I'll never give that back. And I'll, yeah, I'll really miss the reminiscing.
All of that slandering, big bullying people, you don't scare me. You don't move me. You don't scare me. I'm going to go where I want to go at. I'm talking about very, very just so unbothered anywhere. So you're just doing all this for some clout and for some sales. I really hope you sell out tonight, mama.
Girlfriend, I would hate to have to turn this little blue app up. Okay? I would hate to have to do that. I would hate to have that come out of my body. I would drive to Sanford. Because if I drive to Sanford and burn my gas, baby, I'm not seeing it. I'm going to stuff a mud hole in your ass. And see, the thing is, I'm not going to call you to no film. I'm going to knock on the door.
I'm going to wait outside the gate for somebody to let me in. And I'm going to drive to your motherfucking residence. Knock, knock. Come outside. Please stop fucking playing with me. Okay? Please stop playing with me. See? Because my ball is big enough to do it. Don't play with me. But keep me out your mentions. I won't have that as a competition again. I don't have to come back again.
I highly doubt I'm going to come back again. But if I do, it would be me going live in front of your doorstep. It would be me outside your door. Hello. Hello. Hello. Hello, mate. That would be what it is. Because I'm telling you, I'm really about that life. Quit fucking playing with me.
Came over here, come on. You said you wanted to fight, come fight. Ain't no police coming, no nothing like that. She done brought her goofy all over to this goddamn girlhouse, come get beat up. Get your ass on me. Get your ass on me. I know you ain't just hitting me. Head shot. Quarter shot. Move.
I know you ain't just hitting me.
Move. Protect my motherfucking self.
Katie Benziger is part of the Moms Run This Town group that has been gathering for morning runs in the Twin Ports for years. But this morning they were without an original member many say is the happiest person they've seen at 5 a.m.
Erin Abramson and her son Jacob Nephew were two of the four victims.
Two mothers and their sons.
According to DPD, just a few hours later, but just five minutes away, Catherine's nephew and Oliver's nephew were found dead with the father, Anthony's nephew, who had shot himself.
Nikki Widett lives in the neighborhood and saw the mother and son together a lot, adding to Oliver's free toy library.
The toy library now being repurposed by the community, turning it into a vigil for Oliver and his mom.
A community still trying to make sense of the senseless, but making sure those lost won't be forgotten.
Incredibly upsetting as a father.
What can I do legally out of frustration of being in receipt of something like this? What more could he have done to my daughter?
To us, we felt termination was tougher language attached to somebody that we would hope would never be in a classroom again.
A good young man who wanted to serve his community, wanted to be a firefighter. Speaking with his classmates and fellow firefighters yesterday, the same words kept coming up. You know, leadership, a leader on and off the job, compassionate, passionate about the fire department, passionate about being a paramedic. So it's a devastating loss for our department and for our community as a whole.
He was just, he was so passionate. He wanted to learn so much. One of my favorite students, he came in with a smile every day and all he wanted to do was learn, be a sponge.
I think as a dedicated, you know, paramedic, somebody that was always gonna do the right thing no matter what, no matter if it was three in the afternoon or three in the morning, he was gonna be there taking care of you and your family and making sure that you had everything that you needed. That was, he was gonna do that every single time. You know, he never got a complaint.
In three years, I never got a complaint on that man. Ever. All I heard was, what a good job he did. And that's amazing.
And Ms. Hadley was charged in a felony complaint with stalking with a restraining order, stalking, criminal threats, attempted rape, assault with intent to commit rape, assault with intent to commit rape during a residential burglary, violating a protective order, and a crime bail crime enhancement. These charges carried a maximum sentence of life in prison.
It can take months for us to get an IP address back, particularly if the company doesn't believe it's an emergency. As the DA mentioned, we try to do those emergency search warrants. But when those were coming back, those were coming back blocked through virtual private networks and third party proxies. So we didn't have that information. And we had to then go through and unwind all of that stuff.
And so we may have to serve a search warrant on several different companies. All of those take weeks to months to get back to us.
it's pretty much automatic. We start, in this case, Anaheim Police Department started with getting search warrants, like emergency search warrants, right away to start verifying where the emails came from. And then you start, once you go into that, it's not so easy to verify, here there's something wrong because the, the IP addresses were disguised.
So that obviously required a substantially more, much greater kind of investigation.
I'm here to announce the filing of a felony complaint against Angela Marie Diaz by the Orange County District Attorney's Office. The charges include numerous felony charges, including two counts of kidnapping, two counts of false imprisonment, perjury, two counts of forgery, two counts of possession of a forged instrument,
grand theft, one misdemeanor account of filing a false report with an agency, and 21 misdemeanor accounts of filing false police reports. As important as the filing of charges against Ms. Diaz is, the dismissal of the previous complaint and the exoneration of Michelle Suzanne Hadley is every bit as important. I wanted to make sure, however, that Ms.
Hadley is cleared in every possible way, in the courtroom and in the court of public opinion. It needs to be made clear in the media and in cyberspace. Ms. Hadley is an innocent victim of a diabolical scheme. The kidnapping charge is based on Angela Diaz's activity in getting Ms. Hadley arrested. And the police are actually operating as her agent, in a sense. They're operating because of her.
She's causing them to make the arrest and to take her to jail. So that's essentially it. That's what it's based on.
She tricked us. So we had all the evidence that we had had at that point pointed at Ms. Hadley. But as we found out, it now appears that Angela Diaz was the one behind everything.
The aha moment for us is in about September, we started getting a couple of these IP addresses back and we realized that they were returning to Ms. Diaz's condo. At that point, we realized, okay, we have something wrong here. And our investigation really stepped up and went into overdrive at that point. But that was the real aha moment in the case.
She tricked us. So we had all the evidence that we had had at that point pointed at Ms. Hadley. But as we found out, it now appears that Angela Diaz was the one behind everything.
with a restraining order, stalking, criminal threats, attempted rape, assault with intent to commit rape. She tricked us.
Well, they're clearly looking for the link between the bad guy or bad guys and this couple. Now, having said that, I'm going to be surprised if it's not somebody in a known circle of associates or friends. I mean, if you look at the type of homicide that's occurred and what's been described, at least in the media, is that these bodies were actually sort of displayed hanging.
Now, that sets up a whole different dynamic of what the bad guy is trying to tell the rest of us as to why they were killed and to actually make sort of a statement about it. So that's going to play into potentially who you're looking for.
Well, maybe not personally. I mean, someone could have been sent there. I'm only suggesting that whoever is driving this crime has some sort of relationship with one or both of them because this is not the type of homicide that occurs because somebody breaks in your house. This is clearly someone who – were they trying to get information out of them?
Did they go there with the sole purpose of killing them? My question would be it's going to be maybe something in between only because of the way they died. There's a lot of easy ways, unfortunately.
to end someone's life this is not the easy way to do it and particularly when you talk about if you're going to have to manipulate people into a particular position you know are they fighting you are they not fighting you i mean there's all of these things that add time energy and also this is very important the you leaving you the bad guy leaving clues
because they probably touched whatever the ligature is, ropes, et cetera. There could be hairs and fibers and some distinguishable things on the clothing of the victims. So, you know, there's a lot of unknowns here, but a lot of potential evidence as the police move forward.
Well, it would be difficult, particularly if both individuals are conscious at the time. This is very hard to do all that if you're just one person. I'm going to guess it's going to be more than one person. The police have described the residents as no apparent forced entry. Now, that can mean a number of things.
Someone had a key or they left the door unlocked or somebody followed them into the house. So I don't know that I read a lot into that at this particular juncture, but the real key is going to be the following. It's going to be friends, associates, business situations, et cetera, around one or in particular, you know, Mr. Sherman. And, you know, we'll have to see where that goes.
But this didn't happen just because somebody is upset. This happened for a reason. This is sort of a payback opportunity.
What do you believe members of the family and their legal representatives will say about this?
Are you lying when you say that Barry Sherman told you that you wanted his wife killed?
There's something that you're hiding in. I failed.
This is the person detectives now say is wanted for the murders of Honey and Barry Sherman. Investigators say it's unclear if the suspect was working alone or with someone else.
But on the evening of December 13th, 2017, two days before the billionaire couple was found dead next to the indoor pool in the basement of their mansion, the suspect was tracked on video, arriving by foot in the area of 50 Old Colony Road and later leaving from that same address.
The suspect also disappears from camera view during the time frame that investigators determined the murders took place.
Police can only say the suspect is between 5'6 and 5'9 and believe his actions were suspicious that night.
We were able to find the street and the home where the video surveillance was taken from. It's not even on Old Colony Road, but more than a kilometer away from the Sherman home, which suggests that the suspect walked quite a distance to and from the crime scene.
Police say they tracked the suspect walking through many surveillance videos leading up to and coming from Old Colony Road and released this video because it was the best quality of the suspect they had. This man lives on the street. Do you ever walk over to Old Colony Road?
How long does it take to walk there from here?
Neighbors are anxious for an arrest. Yes, I hope so. We really hope so. The lead detective hopes that this video will bring in the one tip he needs, leading to a break in this four-year-old case and perhaps an arrest. And police would not say if the suspect was picked up or dropped off after walking to and from this crime scene on Old Colony Road.
Also, the fact that police could not track this person's cell phone means that the suspect either didn't use it or left it at home that night, which I'm told could be the sign that this person is a professional.
