Egyptian President Abdel Fattah el-Sisi is proposing a two-day ceasefire between Israel and Hamas and the release of four hostages held in Gaza in exchange for an unspecified number of Palestinian prisoners held by Israel. And Egypt is proposing 10 days of negotiations in an effort to reach a permanent ceasefire. Hamas had no immediate comment.
